The Quarterly Journal of Islamic Literary Studies is published in the fields of Arabic language and literature, with a special focus on Islamic literature, in both Persian and Arabic.
The scope of the journal includes the following research areas:
Textual studies with an Islamic approach;
Research in the field of Islamic literary criticism and theory;
Studies on various topics in comparative Islamic literature;
Research on the reflection of the Islamic worldview in literary texts;
Qur’anic and Hadith studies with a literary–rhetorical approach;
Translation studies of religious texts.
The Editorial Board of the journal welcomes articles from authors, researchers, and scholars that aim to develop and reinterpret the diverse dimensions of Islamic literature through innovative, scholarly, and original research, employing qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches.
