Manuscript Submission Process:
After registering in the journal’s online system, authors can log in to the Authors’ Section to submit their manuscripts and track the review process exclusively through that portal.

Article Similarity Check Process:
Due to technical issues in the Hamyab similarity detection system, the journal is no longer able to carry out the similarity check process. Therefore, the esteemed authors are requested to perform the similarity check of their article through the Samim Noor system before submission and upload the corresponding certificate along with the article on the journal’s website.

Adherence to COPE Regulations:
This journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and complies with the executive bylaw for the Law on the Prevention and Combating of Academic Misconduct.

Collaboration with the Iranian Association of Arabic Language and Literature:
Based on a memorandum of understanding, the journal is published in cooperation with the Iranian Association of Arabic Language and Literature.

Open Access Policy:
The Journal of Islamic Literary Studies complies with the international Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. Under this license, users are permitted to read, download, copy, share, print, search, and link to the full text of the published articles. Full-text access to all published papers is available free of charge and without registration.

Peer-Review Process:
All submissions are first checked for alignment with the journal’s aims, scope, and formatting requirements. Suitable manuscripts are then sent anonymously to two or three subject-matter experts for peer review. Upon reviewers’ approval and completion of any required revisions, the paper will be scheduled for publication.

Article Processing Charges:
According to the University Research Council’s resolution, effective 22 September 2024 (31 Shahrivar 1403), to cover part of the journal’s operational expenses, authors will be charged 1,000,000 rials (100,000 tomans) for the initial review and 5,000,000 rials (500,000 tomans) upon final acceptance.

Scientific Ranking:
In the 2022 evaluation conducted by the Office of Research Policy and Planning, Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, The Journal of Islamic Literary Studies earned a scientific grade “B.”
