The eloquence of the Holy Quran is one of the miraculous dimensions of this divine book, and analyzing it—particularly through the examination of the rhetorical aspects reflected in literary commentaries—can contribute to a deeper understanding of its miraculous nature. Mawahib al-Rahman by Abd al-Karim Modarres and Tafsiri Qur’ani Pyroz by Uthman Abd al-Aziz are among the commentaries that address this aspect of Quranic eloquence. This study, adopting a descriptive-analytical approach, aims to introduce and analyze the methodologies of these two works, exploring their similarities and differences in the rhetorical analysis of the Quran. The findings indicate that while both commentaries share a common goal of elucidating the rhetorical miracle of the Quran, they differ significantly in their approaches and interpretive methods. Modarres places greater emphasis on analyzing linguistic and rhetorical structures, whereas Abd al-Aziz focuses more on conveying educational and social messages. The audience of Mawahib al-Rahman primarily consists of scholars, as it presents the rhetorical aspects with detailed attention to the literary expression of the Quran. In contrast, Tafsiri Qur’ani Pyroz employs simpler and more accessible language aimed at promoting Quranic culture among Kurdish-speaking audiences.
