The worldview of a committed and religious poet is shaped by the religious definition of human nature, existence, and its ultimate fate, determining the course of committed religious literature. Within this framework, commitment, as a fundamental principle, encompasses various poems in which poets consciously engage with political, social, and moral issues. In the modern era, committed literature played a crucial role in resisting foreign domination and colonial oppression, making social and religious concerns essential criteria of literary commitment. The core of this commitment is religious adherence, through which poets sought to raise awareness and liberate Muslim societies from suffering. This study employs a descriptive and qualitative analytical method. Contemporary Persian and Arabic literature are significant for two reasons: a return to the styles of past poets and a thematic shift due to political and social transformations. A key feature of this period was the integration of political and social elements into poetry, introducing themes such as justice, freedom, awakening, and progress. For the first time, poetry became a platform for political and social discourse. Hafiz Ibrahim and Mohammad-Taqi Bahar, as pioneering poets of committed literature, used Islamic teachings to dedicate their poetry to combating colonialism, poverty, ignorance, envy, and defending women's rights, Islam, and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Their works reflect a conscious effort to address societal struggles through poetry, emphasizing the role of literature as a means of reform and resistance.
